What if we all made the commitment to buy $10 of local produce

A study by Virginia Cooperative Extension found that if each Virginia Household spent only $10 on local food and farm products weekly, it would annually generate $1.65 billion in direct economic impact for the Virginia economy, $384.2 million of that right back into our southeast region! 

What if we all made the commitment to buy $10 of local produce or other farm goods each week this year? This year could be the year you eat healthy, help save the local farmer, and even save your local economy!
